Futo management finally gives in details, the meaning of DECENTRALIZED EXAMINATION PROCEDURE.

Futo management finally clears the air regarding rumors about the newly introduced DECENTRALIZED EXAMINATION PROCEDURE.

Recently, the management off the Federal University of Technology, Owerri Imo state has decided to introduce an innovative method of handling examination that we believe will help terminate examination malpractices.

The Management of the School has finally decided to throw lite so as to clear the air on the news being circulated around the media.
The news which the management of the institution tagged ‘Rumour’ has been trending all over the media stating that the "2017/2018 Rain Semester Examination Writing System would be decentralized" .
The management finally explained what and how the Decentralized Examination System is and would look like.

They officially stated that the decentralized examination systems simply means that the students in a particular case of study/department will be writing their examinations in their various halls like before.
They stated that the decentralized system doesn’t concern the students, but the invigilators that will be on duty during the examination.
The Management gave reason for adopting this technique as most students being caught in examination malpractice always negotiates with the invigilators because they know them.
So, this simply entails that invigilators who normally reside in SAAT will be invigilating departments in SEET or SMAT, and vice versa.
This system is being implemented so as to restrict examination malpractice amongst the student.

Therefore I urge Nigerian students to remain calm and prepare properly for the exams as candidates who decide to indulge in examination malpractices will possibly face the consequences if apprehended in the act.
