By Davies Iheamnachor PORT HARCOURT—Eight people were reportedly killed in a reprisal attack by suspected cultists, yesterday, in Oduoha community, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State. It was gathered that one of the cult groups in the area, Deygbam, had stormed the community last month, where a member of the Icelander group was killed. A source, who spoke to Vanguard on condition of anonymity, said cultists suspected to be members of Icelanders were in the community to avenge their colleague’s death, leading to the killing of the number of persons. The source stated that the suspected cultists went from house to house, killing their targets, adding that most of the victims were members of the opposing cult gang in the area.
