IMSU Admission Screening Online Registration 2016/2017 Announced

The Imo State University (IMSU) Online Registration for the Screening of prospective candidates for Admission into ALL COURSES/PROGRAMMES for the 2016/2017 Academic Year has commenced. 1. ELIGIBILITY Candidates who chose Imo State University as their first choice in the 2016/2017 UTME/DIRECT ENTRY Application and scored 180 and above are eligible for the screening. NUC Report Of Accreditation And List Of Unaccredited Courses In Nigerian Varsities 2016.

The National University Commission has released a list of unaccredited courses in Nigerian Universities. This was contained in the 2016 accreditation report of the commission. The unaccredited courses are offered by 37 out of the 143 Universities in the country at the moment. According to the commission, for a course to be accredited, it must meet the Benchmark Minimum Academic Standards (BMAS) that has been drawn up by the commission. JAMB New Boss Promises Improvement Of Policies, Reveals His Five Point Agenda

The new Registrar of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, during the formal handing over ceremony in Abuja on Monday assured his predecessor, Prof Dibu Ojerinde of his willingness to continue the implementation of good policies he embarked upon. He however added that there is still enough room for improvement and whether his tenure will be long, short or truncated is not really important. The important thing is for him to do his bit and leave the stage better than he met it just like his predecessors have done. He equally called for collective responsibility towards making the Board even greater.
