Attention! Attention! Attention!

This is to inform the general public that there is new fraud system called SIM SWAP FRAUD and the nature of the fraud is as follows:
The  phone network will go off and on after sometime a call will come in.
The caller will inform the customer that he is calling from Airtel,9mobile,Glo or MTN and that there is an issue on the network.
The caller will advise the customer to press 1 in order to resolve the network issue.
Once the customer presses 1 the network disappears again and the phone will be hacked.
This SIM SWAP FRAUD is increasing day by day.  Within seconds these fraudsters can empty the customers bank account without their knowledge because the line would be switched off and the customer will not get any information from bank that money is being withdrawn.
