A Female Unilorin medical Student recieves 19 prizes during Convocation

On Saturday, October 22nd, one of the graduands at the University of Ilorin 32nd convocation ceremony, Yusuf Ololade Faidat, was the focal point of fascination, as she secured 19 prizes. 

Faidat, who is in her mid 20s, won the prize for the best graduating understudy from the Department of Medicine, Faculty of Health Sciences. She got the prize of N20,000 granted every session by the Senate to the student pronounced to be the best in every faculty. 

She additionally got another prize of N10,000, granted by the Senate to the best student in every department. 

Faidat additionally brought home prizes for best understudy in the bureaus of Behavioral Sciences, Pathology, Community prescription, Pediatrics and kid wellbeing, Medicine, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics and gynecology and Surgery. 

Additionally, out of the 12 enriched prizes and grants, Faidat got 10 of them. While addressing columnists, she credited her prosperity to the Almighty and diligence. "As a lady, you can turn into whatever you need to be once you are industrious, independent of various men around you. I read for around 4 hours consistently," she said.
