Pls after writing any paper, don't be in a haste to dispose ur mgbor chips for hall,do go outside and throw dem away...a lecturer told us today dat dey use to check d exam halls after d exams for day...dey use to pick all d micro chips used by students, check dem one by one...according to him dats what dey use to rate each exam... This was made known by JAMB Head of Media, Fabian Benjamin during a telephone chat with newsmen on Wednesday. The JAMB Registrar, Ishaq Oloyede, on the other hand has frowned at agitations for the reduction of JAMB Registration fees. According to him, the fee collected by JAMB is one of the lowest in the world. “Why are they not asking WAEC (to reduce fee)? Why are they not asking NECO? Why are they not asking NABTEB? Why JAMB? He asked rhetorically. He said the exam body would only follow a directive from the appropriate quarters on the cost of UTME. “If the government feels we should adjust, we will adjust and not as a result of unqualified, baseless requests,” Mr Oloyede said. *2017/2018 Rain Semester Examination, FUTO* _5 Golden Tips about the newly formed decentralized examination for maximum output_ (1) You will be writing the exam in an unfamiliar hall, with unfamiliar invigilators. NB: You will not be invigilated by your lecturers. Maximum composure is needed. (2) Know your examination venue before the day of the exam to avoid unnecessary tension or you leave your lodge/hostel very early to locate the venue. N.B: Leaving late when you don't know the venue can lead to not writing to your expectation or forgetting what you memorized! The phone numbers of your course mates may be switched off. (3) Leave your phones behind when coming to the examination to avoid it been misplaced, stolen or to avoid forgetting it in your pocket! You could come with a touch light phone if you must.
