14 alleged fraudsters have been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crime Commission on Wednesday in Badore, Ajah area of Lagos. The suspected fraudsters were arrested following intelligence report received by the Commission about their activities. The suspects are: Abiola Kayode, Adeleye Adewale, Adeniyi Abiola, Favour Iruabo, Iyiola Olayemi, Lawal Remilekun and Martins Adetunji. Others are: Obafunsho Oladipupo Samson, Olaleye Bamilola Hassan, Oseni Ridwan, Peter Ayobami Samuel, Peter Toluwabori, Prince Jibril Dirisu and Richard Jerry John. Items recovered from the suspects include exotic cars and laptops. The suspects will soon be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded. The screening exercise of the Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) for the 70th Regular Course Admission will hold tomorrow May 19th, 2018 by 7:30 am. We had earlier given you heads up on  what to expect during the examination  and why you need the  Original NDA Past Questions and Answers  to prepare adequately for the exam. It is now remaining few hours for you to prove the worth of all your preparations so far. Registrar/Chief Executive of the National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB), Prof Ifeoma Isiugo-Abanihe has warned candidates partcipating in the on-going May/June 2018 examinations not to involve in examination malpractices. Speaking to newsmen at the NABTEB headquarters in Benin City, Prof Isiugo-Abanihe said any candidate caught cheating would be prosecuted. The NABTEB May/June certificate examinations, which started with the practical component on Monday, are for the National Business Certificate (NBC) and National Technical Certificate (NTC) awarded by the board. Speaking on the importance of vocationals education and skills acquisition, the NABTEB boss observed that there was serious underproduction of artisans, craftsmen and technicians in the country compared to those of technologists, engineers and other professionals. She noted that the problem needed to be aggressively tackled through the expansion of the board’s assessment programmes for the...

*BREAKING NEWS* About 35 phones got missing in Sops theatre today after students writing GPH301 handed their phones over to a security man(green man) who also took part in the invigilation with the hope of getting back their phones at the end of the exam. A student reported: 'after the exam, we couldn't find the green man anywhere. We had to wait nearby till we saw some other green men that also took part in the invigilation. After talking with one of them. He said we should go and report at SAAT. On getting to SAAT, they directed us to get the green man that directed us here as soon as possible. On getting back to Sops theatre, the green man was nowhere to be found. *Meanwhile, before going to SAAT, we tracked the phones and they were all in Douglas* Missing phones include iPhone 7 (3), S8 (2) and so many others.
